Weigh in day again…no measurements this time…but I am Happy Girl!
Breakdown:
Starting: 180.5
Week One: 176
Week Two: 174.5
Week Three: 172
Week Four: 173
Week Five (this week): 169!
So in five weeks, I have lost 11.5 pounds. That may not sound like a lot to some people…but it is really excellent.
On a more somber note, I also measured my body fat and I am at 35%. Ugh. Definitely need to keep up the cardio and the strength training. But I planned on doing that anyway!
Congrat’s on the GREAT progress…woohoo you’ve broken the 170 mark, I know how great that feels. It’s sooo encouraging watching the #’s go down on the scale. Keep up the great work, you truly are an inspiration!
Thanks so much! It does mean a lot, it feels really great…I haven’t been this low since my second child was born. 170 has been a big nemesis for me for about a year now so I’m psyched. Now to really buckle down this week to make sure I don’t slide back up above it. One pound is not enough of a safety zone for me!
Excellent progress! I’ve read that it is only possible to metabolize 2.5 pounds of fat per week, anything more takes away from muscles and organs. So, you are tracking at MAXIMUM potential! Kudos to you, I’ll keep an eye on you for inspiration..
