Finish every day and be done with it. You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities no doubt have crept in; forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense.
This day is all that is good and fair. It is too dear, with its hopes and invitations, to waste a moment on yesterdays.
—–Ralph Waldo Emerson
This sums it up brilliantly, I think.
Yesterday is over. Tomorrow is not yet here. You cannot change what has happened, and everything you do, this minute, is affecting what will happen.
So take every day moment by moment, making the decisions and choices that will allow you to move forward with a happy soul and a light heart…
But if you falter, let it go.
Move on.
It’s in the past, and it doesn’t matter anymore.
Greet each day as the glorious and miraculous gift that it is, and resolve to meet each moment of beauty with open arms and a willing heart.
No one can stop you but you!
Don’t. Please don’t.
I wish you much peace and love, today and always.
