Which, of course, is what I hope to start this week off on.  🙂  How’s that for a grammatical nightmare?

Happy Monday to all and welcome to a week full of promise and potential!  Today marks the end of my Hunger Awareness experiment and I have to say, I am truly glad.  I didn’t like it.  It sounds very freeing but the truth is, it is not for me.  I am sure it may be a great way to go for a lot of people.  Personally, I can’t deal.  I need structure!  I need discipline!  I need to be told what to eat and when!  🙂

I’m still not all the way through my detailed exploration of Perfect Weight; the Twilight books intervened, as you may recall.  But I have gotten up to the point at which I originally began my casual reading, which is where he talks about body types, etc.  So I have a pretty good idea of what it’s about.  There are parts I will take and parts I will leave.  I like the hot water.  I like smaller dinners and breakfasts.  But that’s about it.

The bottom line, I have decided, is that I am really, really deeply and madly in love with my six small meals.  I adore it.  I do.  Not only because it works for me, but because it Just. Feels. Right.  I like the way my body feels and the way my mind functions when I do that.  I feel so much stronger, healthier, more alert, and energetic.  So I’m going back to it with the zest and passion of a woman returning to her lover after a long hiatus.  🙂  Yeah, really.

So today I’m back to that structure, and I’ll incorporate the hot water and a couple of other things from the Ayurvedic plan.  My exercise will stay the same, though I am building a little strength training back in because I’ve missed that lover, too.  Yoga in the morning, walking in the evenings, and some strength training several times a week.  It just sounds like home.  (But I’m still not weighing myself!)

I’m feeling good, if you can’t tell.  Getting enough sleep and getting back into your groove will do that!  And now to work, because I really do have a ton to do.  I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!
